The pacing was as slow as molasses.
Could the pacing of this cartoon be any slower? If your cartoon is dialogue-heavy, you better have some pretty funny drawings to compensate for the lack of movement. The poses they were doing weren't the least bit funny to me and they weren't really specific to any character. I suggest a technique used in cartoons that eventually develops into full fluid cartoon acting. It's called POSE TO POSE. What this method does is where a character does dramatic movements and holds that position, then moves to another position very quickly, best used to potray a "dramatic" scene. It can also be used in a short like this. Careful not to make the poses too wild though, or it will seem like your characters are flailing around. Character acting is very important, so be sure to find things and traits that will distinguish your characters even more.
